“ We came back to the hotel bar looking for a whiskey cocktail. We couldn’t decide what we wanted, so the wonderful bartender Hunter made us an old fashioned flight, completely off the cuff. Each one was amazing. ”

“ Not your average hotel bar, Poets Modern Cocktails and Eats is a cozy and secluded getaway from the streets of Baltimore. I had a first date here that I’ll never forget. We made reservations ahead of time, were greeted warmly, and served exceptionally well. Just through the double doors of Hotel Indigo and off to the right you’ll find a comfortable open bar restaurant area with plenty of seating options to fit the vibe of your meeting. The only reason I didn’t get five stars for food is because I’ve only eaten appetizers, which were delicious, but very much outshined by the beverages and service provided and not extremely memorable in regards to the food. ”

He knew the menu and what was available for us to enjoy. Jeff is top notch and so was the front desk staff that suggested we come back for live jazz on Thursday evenings. The food was tasty. The crab cake could have been a bit better but overall everything was delicious. The cheese cake was a special treat we enjoyed. Thanks Jeff, Indigo hotel staff and Poets Modern Cocktails & Eats.
